Rolf Strom-OlsenAbout the Speaker:

Originally from Montreal, Canada, Rolf Strom-Olsen earned his BA from the University of Pennsylvania, his MA from McGill University and his PhD from Northwestern University. A Fulbright scholar and SSRC fellow, he is the author of several academic works on ritual and state-building in Early modern Europe and the architect of the Humanities program at IE Business School, where he has taught since 2010. He also teaches the Massive Open Online Course “Critical Perspectives on Management”. Prior to returning to complete his PhD, he founded the company UR Mobile, which provided digital publishing solutions to mobile devices. Rolf is currently working on a book, based on his popular MBA class, that takes a broad and multi-disciplinary approach to examine the challenges facing the practice of management today.
