BW RankingBusinessWeekâ??s biennial report is based on the results of surveys carried out among 2,500 graduates of executive MBA programs and program directors at leading international business schools. Parameters analysed by the report gauge aspects that include the quality of the program, faculty and careers services of each school.

Gonzalo Garland, General Director of External Relations at IE Business School, says â??The fact that BusinessWeek considers our Executive MBA the best in Europe serves to encourage us to continue our drive to improve the quality of the program in order to meet the needs of the business community. We work hard to select the best candidates for each intake, and will continue to strive to innovate and strengthen our internationalization strategy.â? This year IE has launched a new on-site Executive MBA program run entirely in English. The new program will form part of the schools portfolio of Executive MBA program formats, which includes the International Executive MBA, a blended program aimed at high-achieving executives, with face-to-face periods in Madrid and Shanghai and a student body comprising 90% international participants.

The result of the BusinessWeek ranking further consolidates the results obtained by IE throughout 2007 in terms of international recognition. This year Forbes placed IE 4th in the world while The Economist positioned the school 9th worldwide. The 2007 Financial Times Executive MBA ranking placed IE 5th worldwide, and the recently published Aspen Institute report, focused on corporate responsibility at business schools, placed IE Business School 1st in Europe and 10th worldwide.
